Sustainability

Cotton is the most widespread non-food crop in the world. It is particularly preferred for its natural qualities and softness, but its sustainability is definitely one of the key reasons. The cotton fiber perfectly grows in several climates and can be harvested easily. Its production provides income for roughly 250 million people all over the world.

In terms of renewability, cotton, compared to other types of fiber, has superior qualities. While cotton can be harvested every year, trees for other manmade fibers such as rayon can be harvested approximately once in every 15 years.

As a renewable source of power, solar energy plays an important role in achieving development of sustainable energy solutions. It helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supports preservation of human, nature, ecosystems and our entire world. In  this context, Aslanlı has invested in a solar power plant and it is committed to its contribution for a better world.
